About Me
I was born and raised in Calgary Alberta but have called both Vancouver and Toronto home. In the last decade I've had the great privilege of performing on stages all over the world from Campbellford Ontario to Beijing. My experiences traveling and performing taught me two very important lessons. First that the world of professional classical music, in particular opera, is deeply flawed. Second, and most importantly, I learned that this world is also one of endless possibilities and the people who call this industry home have the power to change it. My company, Good Mess Opera Theatre, was born out of this second realization. Each facet of my career works towards a goal of making the music industry a place where people are free to express themselves without the heavy and impossible burden of perfection.
